In connection with the Forte Cultura e-Marketing workshop in February 2013 at Humboldt University in Berlin, there was held the first meeting of "Task Force e-Marketing Fortified Heritage" in Kufstein. The meeting was organized by Forte Cultura project partner ECCOFORT reg.ass. and hosted by Top-City-Kufstein GmbH. Twelve e-marketing specialists from five countries studied and analysed the best practice possibilities of Fortress Kufstein.

According to the Forte Cultura working programme the participants of the workshop discussed the creation of e-marketing tools for the fortified heritage market implementation. Exciting topics like online shopping, e-ticket systems, real estate platforms and tourist information platforms for culture route Forte Cultura were major subjects to the meeting's discussion.

The intention of this work is to form products in the field of fortified heritage with the aim to generate more touristic interest and income in the internet as well as mobile applications.

Participants of the established fortresses like Königstein, Salzburg and Kufstein shared among each other professional knowledge as an input of this meeting. Their experiences and good practises are regarded as a base for new development of the e-marketing fortified heritage.

The workshop "Tool development for e-marketing of fortress monuments" (output 3.4.1) took place at Humboldt University Berlin on the 13th of February 2013.

The goal of the meeting was to find solutions, establish tools, concepts and strategies for all fortified monuments, use modern communication opportunities to present offers to a broader public as well as to attract more people in general. During that workshop Fortress Königstein (Germany) and Fortress Kufstein (Austria) presented their undertaken experiences and efforts in the usage of modern communication channels. Other experts spoke about types of internet marketing and social media.

The need of a separate special working group for the specific field concerning the internet marketing was cleared thoroughly during the discussions. The "Task Force e-marketing fortified heritage" was founded under the leadership of Forte Cultura project partner ECCOFORT reg.ass. who will solve different tasks of the working programme considering e-marketing.
